My name is Saroda Sagar Bashuri, and I am an artist. Currently, I work at my Art Tech studio located near Santiniketan, West Bengal. I pursued my education at Visva Bharati University in Shantiniketan, where I successfully completed my BFA in 2009 and MFA in 2011, both with first-class honors. I consider myself a diligent and hardworking individual.

During my academic years, I had the opportunity to explore various mediums of sculpture, honing my skills in clay, wood, stone, fiber, iron, bronze, and more. At present, I primarily focus on working with fiberglass at a professional level. Having been born in a village near Santiniketan and growing up amidst its culturally rich environment, my artwork reflects the sensibilities and influences of village life. However, I aspire to gain wider exposure and further develop my artistic practice in the context of the global contemporary art market.
